Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher mentioned they entered the studio in 2025 with: “no deadline, no distractions and a simple ambition: to see what was possible with two people, 12 notes and infinite outcomes”.
What they made was very, very loud. What it became was their new album ‘Dead Company’ out on November 13. The first single from it, ‘Ten Over Ten’ was featured earlier this month on SNL UK. If you get a chance to watch that performance, do it; I’m always fascinated to watch them play.
